A few words on Misbehaviour in Blackstar
and how we handle it.

Like any organisation, Blackstar has a set of rules that it's members are expected to abide by. The rules are not difficult to follow, nor are they unreasonable for the type of guild that we are. We accept that from time to time a rule might be broken, and if someone does break a rule, they will be reminded of them, they will be guided and we do try to help them to adjust so they can stick to our code. If an individual persists in breaking the rules time after time, we will exercise the right to either demote them, or in the worst case they will be dismissed from the clan. Each case will be considered on an individual basis, but quite simply if people abide by our laws there will be no repercussions *smile*


Misconduct within the Clan

The following is a list of what is expected, and actions that are considered to be misconduct:


Expectations

-We expect members to attend Clan meetings, hunts etc - If you don't take part, why join ?
- We expect you to be active on the boards- the boards are the main communication centre for the clan, we want members to post there.
- We expect the correct Clan Uniform/colours to be worn - we do not have a strict uniform like some guilds, but we do expect the cape to be worn, and the correct colours.
- We expect you to show respect at meetings - Meetings run much more smoothly if people don't interrupt all the time.

Misconduct Within the Clan

- Trashtalking to another member - It is a matter of respect, we do not talk trash to each other
- Stealing from the clan in general - if you need help with gold or resources, ask
- Stealing from a clan member - if you need gold or resources, ask
- Killing a Clan member without their consent - This speaks for itself
- Leaving the stone without permission - If for some reason you wish to leave the stone, we expect the officers to be consulted first.

Misconduct Outside the Clan

- General "Griefing" (as in harassing, and/or ruining the playing experience for other players such as disturbing events or similar.)- We wouldn't like the same in our events
- Exploiting or the general use of bugs - This is a nono in UO and we won't have members doing this
- Killing any other innocent player(s) - This speaks for itself
- Trashtalking - If you have a problem with someone, walk away or bitch in ICQ to fellow B*s
- Stealing from any other player(s) - We're trammel based, we are the good guys; stealing dosn't fit the picture
- Doing anything that soils the clan's reputation - This shouldn't need explaining!!

Some clan members do have, shall we say chars that are the wrong side of the law, and obviously are rules do not apply to those chars. However, if a member's non clan char does anything that can be traced back to Blackstar, and reflects the clan in a bad light, they will be subject to the repercussions as if they had used their Blackstar char.

All in all: Best to simply stick to the rules. If you have questions, or things are uncertain, PLEASE talk to any of the officers!
